Three men were stabbed Halloween night after two apparently unwelcome guests drew knives, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson.
Quinton Gage Hale, 18, Warnell Farm Road, Ellabell, and Nicholas Jordan Carroll, 17,  Broomstraw Trace, Ellabell, showed up at a party at Thomkin Drive in the Burkhalter Plantation subdivision around 1 a.m. Sunday morning, claiming they were invited, he said.
But others at the party felt differently and told Hale and Carroll they were not welcome. This led to a fight after Hale and Carroll were asked to leave, Anderson said.
As the fight escalated, Hale and Carroll each pulled knives and three victims were stabbed, Anderson said. One victim suffered severe stab wounds to the stomach and arm, and was admitted for surgery at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
A second victim suffered stab wounds to the back and hand, while a third was stabbed in the back. The second and third victims' wounds were not life-threatening, he said.
It is unclear which suspect stabbed the third victim, and charges are pending regarding that stabbing. However, Hale and Carroll were each charged with one count each of aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime.
The suspects were identified by witnesses, and Carroll was arrested at his home, Anderson said. Hale turned himself in later.
