A Sylvania woman remains in critical condition after a Friday night crash on Old Register Road. Georgia State Patrol Post 45 reports listed four known occupants of a 1993 Honda Civic involved in the crash, but a fifth person reportedly left the scene before responders arrived, and the remaining occupants would not divulge that person's identity, according to GSP spokesperson Ginger Bragg, citing reports. Around 11:46 p.m., Devon LaJames Evans, 23, of Gus Denmark Road in Brooklet, was driving north on Old Register Road when his car left the roadway, traveled more than 100 feet, overturned and struck a tree with its roof, Bragg said.
