A Statesboro man was killed Wednesday in a single vehicle collision on Country Club Road, according to Georgia State Patrol reports.
Jeffrey John Cason, 32, Williams Road, was traveling north on Country Club Road about three miles south of Statesboro around 6 p.m. Wednesday when he lost control of his vehicle, according to reports by Trooper first-Class Christopher Palmer.
As he negotiated a curve, Cason's vehicle left the roadway, overturned and struck a tree, he said.
Cason was ejected from the vehicle. Additional details regarding the accident were unavailable Thursday as Palmer's report was incomplete, according to a GSP spokesperson. The accident remains under investigation.
