The Statesboro Fire Department invites the public to attend the annual 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 11, commemorating the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attack that shook the nation in 2001. The event will be held at Bulloch Memorial Gardens starting at 8:30 a.m., said Statesboro Fire Chief Tim Grams. "Representatives from Statesboro Fire, Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Fire, Bulloch County Sheriff's Office and other agencies will be on hand to remember those that perished and honor those whose lives were so bravely given in the service of others in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001," he said.
