To the person complainin' in Soundoff about businesses not flyin' the Georgia Southern flags: while the college students do bring a lot of money into Bulloch County, they also bring in a lot of destruction ... to our property. Some of those properties been in Statesboro forever ... and has always been very beautiful. ... Why don't you worry about flyin' the United States flag ... in support of our troops, who have given you ... freedom ... and many other wonderful things that we enjoy in this United States of America. ... Besides financial ... profits, what has Georgia Southern done for you or your country lately? Thank you.

... We know you're wrong about the TEA Party, so what propaganda are you talkin' about on Fox News or do you have to wait to be spoon-fed by the Democratic Party? ... Bye.

On Saturday, I was stopped ... in the eastbound lane of Highway 80 near Stilson ... by a Bulloch County sheriff with his blue lights on ... about to lead a funeral procession out of a small church. ... I stopped ... and turned my emergency flashers on. ... While sitting there, two impatient people went around me on the shoulder of the road and broke into this ... funeral procession. ... Pinhead or patriot? ... You decide?

I'd just like to ... thank FMB for the lovely senior luncheon at R.J.'s, which is always wonderful. But the rude people who insisted on carryin' on conversations durin' the speaker ... and cell phone ringers and talkers, how rude can you be? You really need to stay home ... so that people can enjoy this lovely, lovely luncheon.
