... If you don't like Soundoff ... you really don't have to read it. But, then, maybe you've been here ... a month too long. Bye.

You've been in Statesboro for one month and decided that the only people who use Soundoff are the functionally ... illiterate. Well ... you had to read Soundoff. Then you called in with your words of wit. ... Wouldn't that be considered ... using Soundoff? ... Then wouldn't that make you functionally illiterate? You've convinced me, for one. Thank you. Have a nice day.

... This is to the person that wonders what the difference is between ... takin' a corporate tax break ... and taking welfare. ... Well, buddy, the big difference ... is if ... if you take a corporate tax break, you're still paying thousands of dollars in taxes. ...You're just getting some of what of a break ... so that you can hire people like you, or at least try to hire people like you. ...If you take a welfare check ... it's because you're just too lazy to get your butt out of bed ... and go get a job that may pay only $8 or $10 an hour. ... You think it's easier to get a big check ... from the government. ...And I will be the first to admit. There are people that do need this because they're disabled ... or ... elderly. ... And that's ... what the system is set up for. ... But you on the other hand are just too lazy to get out of bed.

This is for all of you honest people in the Metter area. ... If a bald-headed fat man tries to sell you a Polaris four-wheeler - or a pickup truck - ask to see the title. ... He doesn't own either one of these items. ... I do.

Here's something that doesn't add up. ... In 2010, undocumented immigrants ... had an average income of $38,000 and paid $11.2 billion in taxes; while General Electric, who made $14 billion in profit paid zero taxes.

I'm ... I'm referrin' to the article in Sunday's paper in Soundoff. ... The lady said thank you for votin' for Obama. You better believe I didn't vote for him. ... And ... I feel sorry for the ones that did. Thank you very much. Bye-bye!

In Sunday's paper, Coach Monken stated he was not pointing fingers at anyone. ... Well, he should be pointing a finger at himself! ... He knew that he did not have an accurate field goal kicker soon after the season began. ... This was confirmed throughout the entire season ... but he did nothing. ... He waited until hours before the ... semi-final game to bring in an inexperienced soccer player. ... How did the game end? A blocked field goal which would have tied the game. ... Yes, Coach Monken, point a finger at yourself, please!
