Just wonderin' why ... the word Japan or Japanese was completely left out of the stories - all of the stories - on the ... Pearl Harbor ... anniversary ... 70th anniversary. ... I know that a young person reading the newspaper will turn to their folks and say ... 'Daddy, Granddaddy ... who bombed Pearl Harbor?' ... It's not mentioned in the Savannah paper ... or ... Statesboro Herald. And that's why I'm callin' you to find out why ... it was it omitted.

Recently, Senate Republicans filibustered the Democrats' push to extend the payroll tax cut for workin' class Americans and small businesses. Then they blocked their own plan to extend the payroll tax cuts. In other words, Republicans don't want to extend the payroll tax cuts at all. ... They want to raise taxes on every single working American ... to continue giving tax breaks and subsidies to the rich. So, if you have a job, the GOP just voted to raise your taxes for Christmas. Unbelievable! Wake up, America.

In reference to Wednesday's Soundoff pertainin' to the senior luncheon at R.J.'s ... seniors enjoyed the luncheon because ... the bank appreciates them. But what about the appreciation of the employees?

To the stupid, stupid person dressed all in black ... ridin' a black bicycle ... on Highway 80 at 3:45 in the morning ... with no headlight on. I hope you have identification on your person so when somebody does run into you and knock you on your keester, somebody can figure out who you are. Those little tiny reflectors on your peddles ... just don't cut it, stupid.
