Shots fired at a local apartment complex Monday night have some residents concerned and police seeking information about the suspects involved. Statesboro police officers were called to 111 South Apartments on Highway 301 South around 8:43 p.m. Monday "after receiving notification that gunshots were heard in the area," said Statesboro police Maj. Rob Bryan, interim police chief. Rachel Kelso, who lives in a fourth-floor apartment at 111 South overlooking the pool area, said she was video-chatting with her mom when the shots rang out.
