After Statesboro Police arrested three men involved in an altercation last week near Platinum Lounge, a gun involved in the shooting was linked to a January burglary in Metter. Metter Police Det. Tim Platt said a gun, which one of the suspects reportedly waved during the argument, had been stolen from BJ's Sportstore, according to an article Wednesday by Metter Advertiser reporter Jerri Goodman.
