The following are among the food service establishments inspected in October by the Bulloch County Health Department. The department scores on a 100-percentile scale. Kitchens are inspected at least every four months and are required to post their score sheets in public. The score and selected comments from health inspectors are included in each report. Feb. 17

Observed foods uncovered when not in use. Cover all foods when not in use. Observed walk-in cooler leaking. Repair. Observed water build-up in reach-in cooler at bar. Repair. Inspector: Kristen Smith.

Observed ice cream scoops stored in water less than 135 degrees F (90-110 degrees F). Inspector: LaRon Randall.

Observed facility operating with imminent health hazards present: observed gray water holding on floor in multiple areas of the facility. Action plan will be supplied to health authority on 2/22/2021. Observed shelving and floor in walk-in cooler not properly designed and sealed to be smooth and easily cleaned. Repair/replace flooring and shelving. Observed debris on floor in walk-in cooler. Clean non-food contact surfaces. Repair drainage issue. Observed damages to floors, walls and ceilings throughout the facility needing repair. Observed five (5) mice on a glue trap under counter in drive-thru window. Increase pest control until facility is free of pests and rodents. Inspector: Laura Moore.

Observed chicken with internal temperature of 116 degrees F. Utilize time as a public health control. Use 4-hour discard time until heat lamp is replaced. Chicken must be held at 135 degrees F or above. Observed microwave with broken handle. Repair or replace microwave. Inspector: Moore.
