Two Republicans running for the chance to defeat Democratic U.S. Rep. John Barrow have agreed to participate in four primary debates, 12th District Republican Party Chairman Lawton Sack announced. Both candidates, businessman Rick Allen and former congressional aide John Stone, are Augusta residents. The primary date is set for May 20; the winner will face Barrow in the general election, scheduled for Nov. 4, 2014.
