Construction projects will close two roads for the next two weeks, Statesboro police said.
    The two spots to avoid are Packinghouse Road between East Olliff Street and U.S. Highway 301, also called East Parrish Street, and Old Register Road between Veterans Memorial Parkway and Forest Drive.
    Local access will be provided. Other traffic will be barred while the roads are repaired, police said. The repairs began Monday.
