This frame grab from a surveillance camera shows a suspect who robbed a Millen convenience store Monday night.

Millen police are seeking a suspect in a convenience store armed robbery that happened Monday night.

Around 9:05 p.m. officers responded to the Millen Bay gas station on Highway 25 for a hold up alarm, said Det. Sgt. Bradley P. Adams.

When responding officers arrived, store owner Dale Wiggins told them a male suspect “entered the store and brandished a firearm,” he said. “The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.” No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is believed to be a white male, standing between 5’10” to 6’ tall. He was wearing “black cargo style pants, a red Polo brand sweatshirt with a hood and black Nike tennis shoes. His head was covered with a white rag and had a camo dark colored bandana over his mouth.”

The back of the suspect’s sweatshirt was covered in grass or hay, Adams said. Plus, “the shoes he was wearing had some type of construction material on them” like paint or sheetrock mud, he said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact Adams at 478-982-2750.
