Statesboro police are seeking information about a man who tried to rob a food delivery driver Monday night. Around 10:30 p.m., a man approached a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver at The Cove at Southern, waving a handgun, said Statesboro Police Advanced Patrol Officer Justin Samples, the department’s public information officer. Instead of stopping, the delivery driver increased the vehicle’s speed and left the area, he said.
