▲ OLD HAPPY ROAD — A woman said a man who rented land from her late father for planting crops had not paid his yearly rental. The man told her he forgot to send payment. When she never received her money, she reported it to the sheriff’s department. Contact with the man revealed he had sent her a check and she should get it within days.

▲ SERVPRO STATESBORO/JOE KENNEDY BOULEVARD — A burglary resulted in theft of three moisture meters and an iPad.

▲ PAINTER’S ALLEY — A man reported a boat motor missing.

▲ KENDRICKS ROAD — A woman said a man who had been staying on her property in a camper threatened to burn a shed along with trash she asked him to remove or burn.

▲ SOUTH MAIN STREET — A man reported the theft of a bicycle.

▲ JOHNSON STREET — Someone told police a subject waved a bat at them. Apparently it was perceived as a threatening gesture as the call was listed as simple assault.

▲ LOWE’S PARKING LOT — Officers responded to a reported verbal dispute.

▲ BUTLER HOMES — Officers responding to a call about a person waving a gun detained a suspect. He suspect used profanity, was resistant and increased the level of profane and vulgar protest and was arrested.

▲ PEG WEN BOULEVARD — A woman called police after her husband, who suffered medical issues, left the home following an argument. The man said he went to the store and just wanted lottery tickets.

▲ VETERAN’S MEMORIAL PARKWAY — Officers arrested a person driving while intoxicated and driving on the wrong side of the road, with no valid license.

▲ GROVE CIRCLE — A woman said her estranged husband, from whom she is separated, came to her door and pounded on it.

▲ LANIER DRIVE — A traffic stop led to recovery of a vehicle reported stolen by another agency

Another call involved criminal damage to property — a window and a wall.

In yet another call, a man told police he suspected his ex-girlfriend cut his brake lines. Officers checked and said the lines were intact with no leakage.

▲ WOODLAND DRIVE — Someone reported $115 stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

▲ MORRIS STREET — A person threatened a family member with violence.

▲ EASON STREET — A woman said someone stole her son’s bicycle.

▲ SPLASH IN THE BORO — A juvenile was arrested after someone reported being involved in a physical fight with the suspect.

▲ EAST MAIN STREET — An intoxicated person agreed to go to bed after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute.

▲ KENT STREET — A man and woman were each charged with simple battery for involvement in a domestic dispute.

▲ Officers issued no traffic citations or traffic warnings and assisted no motorists.

▲ SOUTHERN PINES APARTMENTS — Officers performed a welfare check, responding to a sick person call and a drug complaint.
