INCIDENTS
    Statesboro Police, Bulloch County Sheriff, Georgia Southern University and Georgia State Patrol incidents occurring Friday through Sunday will be reported Tuesday.

Statesboro Police Department
    BAYMONT INN & SUITES — A woman told police around 1 p.m. Thursday that a man, the father of her children, argued with her over a phone. He showed up at her work, tried to get her boyfriend to fight and threatened her.
    WAL-MART SUPERCETER — Two women were arrested around 7 p.m. Tuesday for shoplifting a notebook, can of air, soft drinks and juice, hot dogs, shampoo and other items.
    ASPEN HEIGHTS — A man told police around 3 a.m. Friday that another man pointed a gun at him. The accused denied doing so.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    BUDDY’S TRUCK STOP — A clerk and a customer fought over lottery ticket payments around 11:20 a.m. Wednesday. The customer paid $3, but the clerk said he owed $4.50.
    BLACK CREEK CHURCH ROAD — A woman told deputies around 8 p.m. Thursday that someone shot her dog, an 11-year-old golden retriever, in the face with a shotgun.

Bulloch County Animal Shelter
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Jan. 19-25:
    Surrendered by citizens — 12 dogs and three cats from rural county areas; three dogs and one cat from City of Statesboro.
    Collected by officers — six dogs and two cats from rural county areas; two dogs and two cats from City of Statesboro.
    Adopted from shelter — five dogs and one cat.
    Reclaimed by owners — five dogs.
    Died at shelter — one cat.
    Euthanized — four dogs and a cat.
    Fees collected — $ 721.35.
