Statesboro Police Department
    GNAT’S LANDING — Two men were involved in a fight, but when police arrived, each signed a waiver of prosecution.
    SAV-A-LOT — A man was caught shoplifting a $3 sausage. He concealed the item and was arrested.
    EAST JONES AVENUE — A man reported damage to his vehicle when a transformer exploded and a power line dropped over the car. Also, the transformer fell, and caused damage to the Throne of David Church parking lot. The series of events was caused by a tractor trailer striking a power pole elsewhere, according to Georgia Power, reports stated.

Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office
    CIRCLE DRIVE — A woman said an unknown caller left a message that “she would take her son to school and he would take care of it.”
    LANIER DRIVE — A man harassed investigators as they handled a separate case, shouting obscenities at them. He was arrested.

Georgia Southern University Police
    Officers issued three traffic citations and four traffic warning, as well as assisted three motorists.
