Police arrested a  South Dakota man Tuesday they said rammed another man's car, forcing it through a stop sign to be struck by a third vehicle.
Dustin Roger Hauk, 32, East 7th Avenue, Mitchell, SD, was charged with leaving the scene of an accident/hit and run, aggravated assault, and DUI, according to Statesboro Police reports.
The vehicle incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance reported by a woman at a Broad Street residence, reports stated. The victim argued with Hauk, and called her ex-boyfriend for help. The ex-boyfriend was on his way to the residence when Hauk, having fled the scene, met him en route, reports said.
After a verbal altercation between the two men, Hauk followed the other man, intentionally striking his vehicle with Hauk's, pushing the ex-boyfriend's car through a stop sign. A third vehicle then struck the female victim's ex-boyfriend's car, according to reports.
Hauk fled from the scene, but police soon apprehended him and took him into custody. Inside Hauk's car they found a hand gun, a magazine for the gun and ammunition, reports stated.
No injuries were reported. Hauk was  taken to the Bulloch County Jail, where he remained Wednesday without bond, according to jail records.
