Statesboro police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Cambridge at Southern apartments on Dec. 3.

According to police reports, the victim said he was sitting in a friend’s vehicle around 8:05 p.m. when a man walked up, stuck a gun through the back window of the car and demanded money.

The victim handed over undisclosed items and the suspect fled in a vehicle. Reports did not list descriptions of the suspect or vehicle, and Statesboro police Advanced Patrol Officer Justin Samples said Monday that the incident remains under investigation.
