Police: Dispute at church leads to stabbing
One woman faces aggravated assault charges; two other women also arrested
Kemtavia Holly

Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said a woman who made rude remarks to another two women about their family ended up behind bars after she stabbed them after church.
Kemtavia Shaniece Holly, 23, Denmark Street, and China Nicole Holly, 28, Lockett Lane, Register, received superficial knife injuries - one to the leg, and one to the arm - after Latoya Ornette Hagan, 34, Dry Branch Village, Register, attacked them with a knife, he said.
Appar-ently the women were all at church in the New Hope community when Hagan reportedly made "disparaging comments to the members of the Holly party," he said. "When they left church, a confrontation ensued between Hagan and the Holly women at Kennedy Bridge Road near Wigfall Road," he said.
During the argument, Hagan grabbed a knife and stabbed both China and Kemtavia Holly, he said.
There were witnesses at the scene, and deputies questioned them before charging Hagan with aggravated assault and affray (fighting). Both Kemtavia and China Holly were arrested on affray charges. They later posted bond at the Bulloch County Jail but Hagan remains without bond.
Anderson said the reasons for Hagan making negative remarks about the Holly family were unknown.
