For the past two and a half months, I've enjoyed the company of dozens of area residents who took me up on my offer to join me for a cup of coffee and discuss ideas about possible uses of the property across the street from the Statesboro Herald.
        You have given us a lot of good ideas and I'll write a column listing many of those ideas and where we stand.
        In addition to discussing what is commonly known as the Maxway center, which the Herald's parent company and CEO Charles Morris now owns, I welcome any topic of discussion you would like to bring up that concerns you.
        So, I invite you to the Statesboro Herald office on just Tuesdays now between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. to meet with me and and perhaps other members of our staff.
        We'll offer you a cup of coffee or bottle of water and listen to your thoughts and ideas.
        The Herald coffee bar is open mornings on Tuesdays only.
