About 180 participants got the full game-day experience during Thursday's Women's Football Clinic at Georgia Southern University, including a tour of the facilities at Paulson Stadium, a fashion show with players sporting different uniforms and gear, and a chance to watch film with a real referee and Willie Fritz's coaching staff. Participants got to run through the tunnel out of the locker room at the Ted Smith Family Football Center and learned some basic football drills on the field. Proceeds of the event will benefit the Tickets for Kids program, which helps area disadvantaged youths attend games.
