When a childcare worker spotted bruises and marks on a five-year-old child Friday, reports to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office led to the arrests of the child’s parents. Deputies charged both Kothares Rhodes, 34, and Crystal Woodcock, 25, both of Cypress Lake Drive, with first degree cruelty to a child, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson. Daycare workers contacted the Bulloch County Department of Family and Children Services, as mandated by law when they see or suspect abuse, he said.
