Bulloch County Board of Education District 5 incumbent Vernon Littles retained his seat Tuesday with more than 53 percent of votes cast, but opponent Glennera Martin said she will challenge the election result. Bulloch County Board of Elections Superintendent Pat Lanier Jones said she has never had a candidate challenge an election before. Martin said she suspects some voters in her district received faulty ballots and were not given the opportunity to vote on the District 5 BOE race.
