East Georgia Regional Medical Center has named Molly Hammond, RN in the Cath Lab,at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, Employee of the Month for September.
“Molly is one of the senior staff nurses in the Cath Lab; however, her role far exceeds that of just nursing,” saidd Tonya Eagle, director of Cardio-vascular Services at EGRMC. ”Molly voluntarily performs duties such as data abstraction and submission of the CathPCI Registry to the National Cardiac Data Registry. She works meticulously to ensure all data submitted is complete and accurate. In conjunction with one other team member, Molly has also voluntarily taken on the duty of ordering the many supplies needed in the Cath Lab. This is a huge responsibility that requires continuous and daily attention. Molly demonstrates a true sense of ownership in the Cath Lab. Above everything else, Molly has a huge heart and she genuinely cares. She cares about her patients. She cares about her work family. She cares about her department and the hospital.”
"We are proud to honor Molly as Employee of Month, and thank her for being such a committed, hard-working, caring employee. We are thankful to have Molly on our team," said Erin Spillman, director of Marketing at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.
