Metter police arrested a man they say shot another man several times in the torso, Metter Police Chief Dennis Nelson said. Robert L. Williamson, 36, of Palm Bay, Fla., was “arrested without incident in Bulloch County this morning by the United States Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office,” Nelson said. Williamson is being held without bond at the Candler County Jail on aggravated assault charges.
