Metter High media specialist charged with misconduct with student

A second Metter High School faculty member was charged Tuesday with inappropriate conduct with a student. Regan Smith, a media specialist, turned herself in at the Candler County Jail shortly after 4 p.m. Tuesday, said Cathy Sapp, the special agent-in-charge of the Statesboro office of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Smith's age and address were not immediately available Tuesday.
