Three men invaded a Clito-area home Thursday night and pistol-whipped a man from whom they stole an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff's Office.

The invasion occurred around 11:45 p.m. at Doy Newton's Trailer Park on Kyle Sorrell Road in Clito, according to a Bulloch County Sheriff's incident report released Friday.

The gunmen entered the home and cornered a 21-year-old female, an 18-year-old male and a juvenile in the master bedroom. The woman told deputies they heard a "loud noise" and the three masked men, carrying guns, burst into the room. One man held a gun on the woman and juvenile while the other two invaders started beating the 18-year-old victim with the butts of their guns, the report states.

The men demanded that the victim "give them the money or they were going to kill him," according to the report.

The man holding the gun on the woman and juvenile found the victim's wallet during the 10 minutes during which the other two beat him, the report says.

The invaders left after taking an undisclosed amount of cash, according to the report.

Bulloch County sheriff's Chief Deputy Jared Akins said the male victim was visibly injured, but the wounds did not require his being taken to the hospital.

A suspect was listed by name on the incident report, but no one has yet been arrested in the case. Bulloch County investigators continue to pursue the case, Akins said.
