A man tried to break into a convenience store Thursday night, police said.
About 11 p.m., a man smashed the front window of the Zip-N convenience store at Ga. 24 and Clito Road, Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson said in a news release.
The burglar was not able to enter the store, and nothing was reported stolen. The attempted burglary occurred less than five minutes after the store closed, and surveillance video shows several people in the parking lot just before the suspect appears on foot, the release says.
Investigators took physical evidence from the store, and Anderson said the sheriff's office hopes one of the people at the store will provide information on the burglar.
