A 15-year-old teen remains in critical condition after a possibly gang-related shooting Tuesday night around 8:23 p.m. at Luetta Moore Park on Church Street, police said.  A second victim, Gregtavious Wallace, 19, is listed in stable condition. Both suffered from multiple gunshot wounds, said Statesboro Police Capt. Scott Brunson.
Detectives are searching for one offender after arresting three others, all of whom were charged with participation in criminal street gang activity, said Statesboro Police Chief Stan York.
Police still seek Dante Ravon Williams, 17, for questioning. "Arrest warrants are pending," he said.
Myron Eugene Johnson, 17, was taken to the Bulloch County Jail, charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, giving false statements to police officers and participation in criminal gang activity, he said.
Neither York nor any detectives involved in  the case were immediately available Wednesday, but Maj. J. R. Holloway said the fact that the offenders are charged with participation in criminal gang activity indicates the shootings were gang-related.
No additional details regarding the shooting were immediately available Wednesday.
Two 16-year-old males are also behind bars; one  is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, carrying a concealed weapon and participation in a criminal street gang, he said.
The second 16-year-old male is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, giving false statements to police officers and participation in a criminal street gang. Both are being held at the Claxton Regional Youth Detention Center, York said.
After receiving a dispatch around 8:23 p.m. regarding shots fired, responding police officers found the two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Witnesses told police the offenders  fled before officers arrived, he said.
Police did not reveal details regarding the victim's injuries Wednesday. Both victims were transported to East Georgia Regional Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, York said.
Anyone with information regarding the shootings or with information about Williams' whereabouts is asked to contact lead Det. Ken Scott, who along with other SPD Criminal Investigative Division and Crime Suppression Unit detectives  are continuing the investigation, he said.
Scott can be reached at  (912) 764-9911 or (912) 764-1542.
