A man who made unwanted advances towards a woman at a Super Bowl party Sunday remains in critical condition after being beaten by the woman's boyfriend, said Bulloch County Sheriff Lynn Anderson. Marvin Carlton King, 49, Pike Road, suffered broken bones, a collapsed lung and brain injury after Landon Lee Sowell, 19, Dyches Road, beat him and kicked him until others at the party restrained him, he said. Sowell is charged with aggravated battery and remains without bond in the Bulloch County Jail, he said.
