A Bulloch County man has been jailed for allegedly intercepting a donation meant for a local charity. James Mullard Shy Jr., 30, was arrested Wednesday by the Statesboro Police Department and is being charged with felony theft by conversion after stealing nearly $800 worth of goods meant for Pray it Forward Bulloch County, according to Major Scott Brunson. Shy was apprehended when a search of the College Walk apartment he was currently staying in uncovered a large portion of the missing donation, Brunson said.
