      I wish to commend your sport’s editor, Matt Yogus, for the clarity of his reporting on the paramount change of scenery regarding this football season of the GSU Eagles.
      He, without bias, has chosen to report the situation just as it is. He has been honest as a journalist and insightful as a futurist. He is truly a bright spot of your newspaper, allowing a touch of entertainment, but more importantly remaining true to the canons of honorable journalism.
      Deep within him, I know he personally is a fan of the Eagles team and staff, but he allows that to stay private as he reports it the way it truly is.
      In the early days when I was in charge of Southern’s sports information, two young lads came my way who remind me of Yogus, Claude Felton, now Associate Athletic Director for UGA and Glen Greenspan a rookie just starting out who later was front man for Gary Player, V.P. for Marketing, The Augusta National and now heads Tiger’s team in that area..
      This allows creditability to my measurement of Matt.
