        It saddens me to reflect on what has happened to America in the past 50 years.
        I was blessed to live in the greatest nation on earth at the best of times. I grew up naïve with a father and mother who loved me and who loved the God of the Bible. I was taught obedience in our home. I was not exposed to the evils of the world. I felt safe and secure. I enjoyed the simple pleasures of life.
        We had Bible reading and said the Lord's Prayer in school. We were taught obedience in school. My sex education consisted of: In school the students saw one film about the reproduction of humans in health; the boys one day and the girls the next.
        At home: “Be a lady. If you behave like a lady, you can marry anyone you want to marry. Don't do anything you wouldn't want the Lord see you do.”
        Hey, it worked for me!
        Since 1960, I have seen the God of the Bible removed from our public schools. One atheist had Bible reading barred from schools, followed by eliminating public prayers, creationism was replaced by evolution, explicit sex education is taught in grammar schools and an alternative lifestyle is taught to be acceptable.
        I have seen The Commandments given by God of the Bible prohibited by our Federal government. The highest authority in the land has sanctioned abortion where millions of innocent lives have been taken and they have given their approval to same sex marriages.
        In essence, through our elected officials, we have told the God of the Bible – We don't need You and we don't want You!
        Any of you that have ever studied world history know we have allowed ourselves to be placed in jeopardy. All authority in the world is given by the God of the Bible. When we as a nation tell God we don't want Him in our lives, the same fate awaits us that other great empires received when they turned their back on God.
        Lord, have mercy on America!
