'Heroes' chased away attacking dogs

So many times in today’s world, we hear about people not willing to take a risk to help others, but there are two special people living in this community that aren’t like that.

My granddaughter was trapped and attacked by two vicious dogs their owners had neglected to contain in a secure place. My granddaughter was cornered, and screamed for help as the dogs tore at her legs and shredded her slacks.

A young couple, hearing screams, left the security of their home and ran to her aid.  They were able to chase the dogs. Then one person followed the animals, while the other took the girl into their home, so the police and the girl’s mother could be contacted.

To these heroes I offer my deepest appreciation and thanks. You made the world a better place. She is OK.
