GUYTON -- Larry Bruce Redmond, 62, passed away at his residence on June 17, 2018. He was born on June 16, 1956, in Savannah, Ga., and lived his entire life in Effingham County. He was the owner of Shiloh Farms for 31 years.
    He is survived by his parents, Carl “Buck” and Wynell “Nell” Redmond; his children, Jessica (Rob) Bowden and Bruce (Jillian) Redmond; his grandchildren, McCall and Jamison DeLoach and Lainey Redmond; his brother, Mike (Mary) Redmond; and sister, Pam (Clay) Metts. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends.
    Larry was a successful farmer and partner with his son, Bruce. He was a member of Springfield United Methodist Church.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the organization of your choice or Springfield United Methodist Church-Methodist Youth Fellowship (SUMC-MYF).
    Visitation will be held at Springfield United Methodist Church on Friday, June 22, 2018, from 1–4 p.m. with the service to follow at 4 p.m.
