Georgia Congressman John Barrow will visit Statesboro Saturday to meet and greet citizens and discuss issues important to them.
Barrow, who represents the 12th District, will play host to a "Congress on the Corner" event at the Statesboro Mall to provide citizens a chance to have a one-on-one conversation with him on topics that concern them, said Barrow's spokesman Harper Lawson.
The congressman and his staff "will be available to help anyone with questions or concerns about a particular government agency, such as the Social Security Administration, Medicare, or the Veteran's Administration," he said.
From noon to 2 p.m.,  Barrow will be located inside the Statesboro Mall near the inside entrance to Belk.
In addition to "Congress on the Corner,"  Barrow's office also hosts weekly office hours in Bulloch County.  Every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., a representative of his office "is on hand in Statesboro to help answer questions and address issues or concerns," Lawson said. "The one-on-one meetings are available to any resident of the 12th District and are held at the Statesboro Regional Library at 124 South Main Street in Statesboro."
For more information contact Lawson at (202) 225-2823.
