A woman found in her South Mulberry Street home Sunday was stabbed to death. Statesboro Police said the death of Deborah Miles is being ruled a homicide. James Dexter Porter, 46, of Kennedy Bridge Road in Claxton, is being held without bond in the Bulloch County Jail on felony murder charges related to Miles’ death, said Statesboro Police Community Information Specialist Madison Bridges.
