Dellarie Shilling, an assistant professor in Georgia Southern University's School of Nursing, has been appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve on the Georgia Board of Nursing. "This has been a private dream of mine for years, but to actually be invited, unsolicited, is one of the most uplifting events of my professional career," said Shilling, of Statesboro.
