A gospel concert will be held Sunday in Sylvania, with proceeds benefiting a free health clinic there.
The Gospel Sing is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home, 107 Singleton Ave. in Sylvania. Proceeds will go to St. Camillus Health Clinic.
Tickets for the concert at $7 and can be purchased at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home and Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 121 Ridgecrest Drive in Sylvania. Local groups will sing gospel favorites, and light refreshments will be served.
St. Camillus Health Clinic is dedicated to providing free quality health care for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
People of all faiths are welcome, and donations are accepted for this service.
The clinic’s greatest need at this time is for more volunteers, especially those with medical and clinical training, such as doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners and anyone with training in clinic administration. Volunteers of all faiths are welcome.
