A 10-year-old girl was killed Sunday when she was struck by a truck after being thrown by a horse. Chloe Moon Dart was riding horseback with her family on Old Register Road near Old Register Way around 6 p.m. Sunday when her horse began misbehaving and started running, said Bulloch County Coroner Jake Futch. Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Brad Mosher, the Post 45 commander, stated in reports that Chloe’s horse became spooked and began running toward the road.
