On Friday and Saturday, several local businesses will participate in a Downtown Boutique Warehouse sale.

Frills by Scott; Cobblers Bench; Bellies, Babies & Ballerinas; Madame Couture's Consignment Boutique/Southern Glamour; Main Street Bridal; and K. Whitehall are just some of the participating stores, offering upscale clothing at clearance prices.

Ryan Marsh, owner of Bellies, Babies, & Ballerinas anticipates a great turnout.

"We expect this to be a very successful collaboration of downtown businesses working together to benefit the local economy as well as Safe Haven," Marsh said.

The sale will take place at 39 W. Main St. An entry fee of $5 will be charged at the door. All proceeds generated from entry fees will be donated to Statesboro's domestic violence center, Safe Haven, for its upcoming Dancing with the Statesboro Stars Event.

The Downtown Boutique Warehouse sale will run Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
