Statesboro Police Arrests
    Reginald King, 40, Spruce Street — escape, obstruction, probation violation.
    Henry Lee Shipman, 47, Pamela Way — bicycle equipment violations, obstruction, giving false information.
    Jesus Rego, 21, U.S. 301 South — driving while unlicensed, no headlights.
    Wanda Elaine Smalley, 29, Ridgewood Drive — probation violation, driving with a suspended license.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests
    Arrests made Wednesday and Thursday will be published Saturday.
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    Troopers issued four traffic violation citations Wednesday.
          
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    Officers issued one traffic citation Wednesday.
    
Statesboro Police Incidents
    STATESBORO MUNICIPAL COURT — A man apparently didn't like hearing the judge sentence him to 10 days in jail for probation violation. He fled, but was later found and arrested in additional charges of escape and obstruction. He is serving his 10 days as sentenced, then will be held without bond until court on the new charges, jail staff said.
    DON CORLEONES PIZZA — A man tried paying for almost $80 worth of pizza and wings with a debit card and ID that were not his. When confronted, he left the cards behind and fled.
    RIDGEWOOD DRIVE — A resident reported graffiti spray painted on a wall.
    DENMARK/IVORY STREETS — A man riding a bicycle with no lights at night gave police false identity information, then struggled when he was arrested for giving false information.
    WAL—MART — A 77—year—old man chained his bike to a pole while he went into the store, but returned to find it stolen. Surveillance video shows a woman stealing the bike.
    In a separate incident, a man shoplifted condoms, candles, headphones, a lighter and digital photo frame, then fled.
    SUMMIT APARTMENTS — A woman said another woman struck her with her fists during an argument.
    
Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
    PAGE ROAD — (Brooklet) A man reported the theft of an orange road marker placed by the Bulloch County Correctional Institute.
    HAROLD HOWELL ROAD — (Portal) A woman said she and a man were involved in a verbal altercation. The man left the home for the night.
    PLEASANT AVENUE — (Statesboro) A man and his cousin's girlfriend, who lives with him and his cousin, argued to the point deputies were called. The woman chose to stay with a friend for the night until things cooled off.
    U.S. 301 SOUTH — (Statesboro) A man called deputies when a car pulled into his yard and two men started walking around with flash lights. The vehicle was found, and towed, but the men with flash lights were not located. Later, a man came to the sheriff's office claiming he had been driving the car, but it became disabled and he left the car when a friend picked him up.
    ELLISWOOD DRIVE — (Statesboro) A man and woman were awakened by someone banging on their door, screaming. They saw a car driving down the road, but weren't sure whether it was the person who was at their home, and deputies found no one.
    OLD RIVER ROAD SOUTH — (Brooklet) A man became angry when he saw there were no “ for sale” signs in front of his home and argued with others in the household.
    SWALLOWTAIL DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman said someone broke a lock box and door knob off a door and threw them through a window.
    PULASKI ROAD — (Register) A woman said another female harasses her by phone about child cust9ody.
        
Georgia State Patrol Incidents
    Troopers issued 11 warnings Wednesday.
        
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    Officers issued one traffic citation, issued two traffic warnings, assisted five motorists, assisted another agency, responded to one alarm and investigated one accident Wednesday.
    RECREATION ACTIVITY CENTER — A book bag was reported stolen.
    TECHNOLOGY BUILDING — Someone reported a bicycle stolen.
    PLANT EAST — A mirror was damaged on a vehicle in the parking lot.
    SOUTHERN COURTYARD — A resident reported someone put sugar in the gas tank of his vehicle.

    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department— 11 calls.
    Statesboro Police Department— 18 calls.
    University Police Department — one call.
    Georgia State Patrol — three calls.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department — three calls.
    Brooklet Police Department — one call.
        
911 Fire Department Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — two calls.
    Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — four calls.
          
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 dispatchers issued the following calls Wednesday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one fire call and 15 medical calls.
    Candler County EMS — seven medical calls.
    Evans County EMS — five medical calls.
    Central 911 dispatchers also routed the following calls Wednesday: two calls to Bulloch County First Responders, and a call to Effingham County 911.
