Statesboro Police Arrests     
    • Trevor Lee Carr, 20, The Landings — DUI, open container, red light violation, possession of a fraudulent document.
    • Lamar Mincey, 38, West Jones Avenue — parole violation.
    • Lelia Lee Ambert, 20, Mill Run Apartments — probation violation.
    • Shawn Paul Vermilyea, 26, Walden Way — criminal trespass, public intoxication.
    
Bulloch Sheriff’s Arrests    
    • No arrests filed.
      
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
    • Troopers issued nine traffic violation citations Friday.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
    • No arrests filed.

Statesboro Police Incidents    
    • CAMPUS COURTYARD — Someone reported a lap top computer stolen.
    • CHANDLER/LANIER ROADS — Officers cited three men for underage drinking.
    • KNOCKOUT TOWING — A  man told police he got into an argument with an employee, who struck him.
    • UNIVERSITY PLACE APARTMENTS — A woman reported her purse was stolen.
    
Bulloch Sheriff’s Incidents    
    • KING ARTHUR COURT — (Statesboro) Deputies responded to a complaint about noise and commotion around 3 a.m.  and spoke with the resident hosting a gathering. The man said someone threw an aerosol can into a fire, which made a loud noise.  Deputies were called back to the home the next night and saw fireworks being detonated. The tenant was warned that the next complaint would result in an arrest.  
    • LUCY LANE —(Statesboro) A woman told deputies she was arguing with her former boyfriend, who had been coming to her house and harassing her.
    • LYNDA DRIVE — (Statesboro) A woman said a Pamela Way man took two “non-operational” cars from her property.
    • TONY HICKS ROAD — (Portal) A woman said her husband got mad at her when she came home from a funeral because she had missed work, and became abusive, pushing her and sticking his fingers in her mouth in an aggressive manner.
    • OLD RIGGS MILL ROAD — (Register) A man said someone cutting timber near his property damaged some trees and a fence on his property.
    
Georgia State Patrol Incidents    
    • Troopers issued 40 warnings, assisted six motorists, and investigated 10 crashes with three reported injuries Friday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    • No incidents reported.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:
    • Bulloch County Sheriff’s Department —13 calls.
    • Statesboro Police Department — 18 calls.
    • University Police — no calls.
    • Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.

    • Portal Police — no calls.
    • Candler County Sheriff’s Department — three calls.
    • Evans County Sheriff’s Department —  two calls.
