Bulloch County Sheriff's Incidents
TWIN FORKS ROAD – (Nevils) A man Said someone entered their home and left it unlocked.
SOUTHEAST BULLOCH MIDDLE SCHOOL – (Brooklet) A woman said two girls fought and had visible injuries. Both girls were taken into sheriff’s department custody on for fighting charges.
NORTHSIDE STORAGE – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a weed eater rack and back pack sprayer, as well as LED lights.
MY COUSIN VINNY’S – (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of gasoline from a rental truck.
MITCHELL RIGDON ROAD – (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a silver 1986 BMW and a red 1972 Opel GT.
BROOKLET SOUTH DRIVE – (Brooklet) A man said a woman from whom he was ordered by court to stay away from called him and tried to initiate a conversation.
THOMAS VILLAGE – (Clito) A woman called deputies and had a man served with criminal trespass, because she did not want him to visit her again.
POPE ROAD – (Ellabell) A woman said a man came to her home and began screaming and yelling obscenities at her. She told him to leave and he blocked a drive with his car, so another visitor could not leave. When the home owner asked the man to leave again, he challenged her to “ make him.” So, the complainant went inside, got a “Ruger six shooter, ” according to sheriff’s reports, and fired it into the air. The offender then fled the premises.

Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter Reports
    The shelter reported the following activity during the week of Oct. 26-Nov.1:
    Animals incoming:
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, rural areas – 11 dogs and one cat.
    Bulloch County Humane Enforcement, Statesboro city limit – eight dogs.
    Surrendered by citizens - a dog and eight cats.
    Number of animals in surrendered litters  - 12 kittens.
    Animals outgoing:
    Shelter adoptions – seven dogs and a cat.
    Returned to owners - five dogs.
    Died at shelter – a dog and two cats.
    Euthanized from isolation - 13 dogs and 30 cats.
    Officer activity:
    Buzzard complaints - one.
    Court summons/citations - none.
    Warnings issued - 12.
    Money collected:
    Adoption fees - $280.
    Surrender fees - $20.
    Returned animal fines - $155.
    Donations - $32.
    Miscellaneous - $3.
