Police Report - November 4

Statesboro Police Arrests    
      Raphel Jhirmere Taylor, 17, James Street — marijuana possession, simple battery.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests   
    Bobby Ellis Dickerson, 54, Old River Road North — criminal trespass, bench warrant.
    Richard Carl Adams, 29, Packinghouse Road — driving with a suspended or revoked license.  
    
Georgia State Patrol Arrests
     Troopers issued 13 traffic violation citations Thursday.
    
Georgia Southern University Arrests
     No arrests filed.
      
Statesboro Police Incidents   
    ARCHWAY DRIVE — A complainant said a man was driving aggressively during an argument with another person over an incident that took place outside city limits.
    HENDRIX FIRE PROTECTION — A man tried purchasing fire extinguishers using a fraudulent credit card.
    PARK PLACE APARTMENTS — Police responded to a reported domestic dispute. In a separate incident,  a woman reported her cousin pawned a digital camera that belonged to her, without her permission.
    CAMBRIDGE AT SOUTHERN — A man said he was cooking chicken and the grease overheated, causing a fire. Five apartments were damaged by fire and water from sprinklers.
    EAST PARRISH STREET — A man said an unknown person calls him repeatedly, making threats to harm him.
    VARSITY LODGE APARTMENTS — Officers responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute, where a man and woman argued over infidelity issues.
    
Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents   
    U.S. 301 NORTH — (Statesboro) A man said his ex-wife calls him, harassing him about child support. He said it is handled through Child Support recovery and she doesn't need to call him.
    FERNWOOD DRIVE — (Stilson) A woman said she saw a neighbor and a visitor arguing, then the male neighbor fired a hand gun twice toward the visitor. Both were gone upon deputies' arrival.
    R. L. LEE ROAD — (Clito) A woman said she and a man argued over his packing his belongings to leave, and the physical fight led to her being injured. The attack occurred in front of the woman's three children.
    JAY FOOD MART/U.S. 301 NORTH — (Clito) A store owner said a man walked in and began taking pictures of the store, cursing the complainant when he questioned him. Deputies found t he offender, who claimed he was interested in renting the store from its owner. Deputies told the man the complainant was in the process of buying the building, but if he wanted to discuss the matter he should contact the building owner.
    ASH BRANCH CHURCH ROAD — (Pembroke) A man said someone tried to pry open his door.
    EVERETT LANE — (Brooklet) A woman said a man came to her house to speak to her daughter, became angry when told not to come back and kicked in a door.
    HORSE AND BUGGY LANE — (Brooklet) A woman said someone claiming to be from the Effingham County Sheriff's Department called to tell her about an accident involving her granddaughter, and said the girl was  taken to the hospital. The call came when the granddaughter was home with the complainant. The prank call was reported to the Effingham County Sheriff's office.
    HARVEY WILSON ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said his son, who is in Korea, calls him repeatedly and threatens to cause him bodily harm.
    JOHN GRECO LANE — (Pembroke) A man said someone broke into his home, but he found nothing missing.
    PAMELA WAY — (Statesboro) A woman said another female comes to a home near hers and sends an unknown person to hers to fight her son.
    OLD REGISTER ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said someone trashed his yard with toilet paper and foam packing material, and suspected a man he saw leaving the area. Deputies questioned the suspect, who admitted the deed and said he would clean up  the aftermath of the prank.
    PINEMOUNT SUBDIVISION — (Statesboro) A woman said several middle-school aged children came to her house demanding candy on Halloween. When she said she had none, they became irate and  threatened to egg her house. She did find egg on her house minutes later.
    SPRAYBERRY COURT — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of personal checks, a fish finder, and two carburetors from his home, and suspected a former roommate who was evicted for drug use.
    JOSEPH'S HOME FOR BOYS — (Register) A woman reported a physical confrontation between two juveniles.
    WELLINGTON CIRCLE — (Statesboro) A woman reported the theft of her small son's bicycle from the back yard.
          
Georgia State Patrol Incidents   
    Troopers issued 23 warnings, assisted three motorists and investigated four crashes with two reported injuries Thursday.
    
Georgia Southern University Incidents
    KENNEDY HALL — A seat was taken off a bicycle at the bike rack.
         FOREST DRIVE BUILDING — Someone reported a suspicious person.
 HENDERSON LIBRARY — Someone reported a wallet missing.
 EAGLE VILLAGE — Someone reported a rear window was broken in a vehicle in the  parking lot.
         Officers investigated one traffic accident, assisted four motorists and responded to one fire alarm Thursday.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County Sheriff's Department - 10 calls.
     Statesboro Police Department — 12 calls.
    University Police — two calls.
    Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — three calls.
    Brooklet Police — one call.
    Candler County Sheriff's Department — one call.
    Evans County Sheriff's Department —  two calls.

    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Statesboro Fire Department — one call.
    Metter Fire Department — one call.
    Metter Rescue — one call.
        
911 EMS Reports
    Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Thursday:
    Bulloch County EMS — one accident call, one fire all and eight medical calls.   
    Candler County EMS — one accident call and two medical calls.  
    Evans County EMS — one medical call.    
    Central 911 operators also routed the following calls Thursday: one call to animal control officers.
