Statesboro Police Arrests          

            No arrests filed.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Paul Douglas Stewart, 41, North Polk Road — no insurance, suspended registration.

            Pamela Ann Timberlake, 51, Red Oak Drive, Jacksonville, Fla. — simple battery.

            Laron Douglas Powell, 22, Atlantic Bay Lighthouse, Jacksonville, Fla. — simple battery.

            Samuel Lee Knight, 21, Pinemount Boulevard — probation violation.

            Thomas Gary Hook, 52, Westside Road — simple battery.

            Ahtee Morgan Breeden,28, West Rushing Road, Register — driving with a suspended license, failure to stop at a stop sign.

            James William Smith Jr., 29, Perkins Road, Millen — driving with a suspended license.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Juan Frias, 20, East Plum Street, Jesup — DUI (.177).

            William Peterson, 18, Guyton — DUI (pending test results).

            Jamie Oswalt, 19, Statesboro Place — DUI (pending test results).

            Troopers issued 98 traffic violation citations Sunday.

                                     

Georgia Southern University Arrests

            Juan Carlos Martinez, 23,  Sandpiper Drive, — driving with a suspended license, knowingly driving a motor vehicle with suspended registration, and no proof of insurance. 

             Adam Joseph Marino, 20,  Robin Hood Trail — simple assault, public intoxication, and reckless conduct.

           

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            No incidents filed.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            OLD REGISTER/LANGSTON CHAPEL ROADS — (Statesboro) A man reported the theft of a 530 foot roll of 100 pair copper telephone cable from a Frontier Communications work site. Someone actually climbed a pole and cut the cable, he said.

            BELL ROAD — (Brooklet) A woman said someone damaged her mail box by striking it with an unknown object. She said about 10 other residents in the area suffered the same vandalism.

            ROBERTSON ROAD — ((Brooklet) A man said someone stole a Walker hound hunting dog from its kennel. He said a relative was hunting with a man who had the dog, but the suspect could not be located.

            LINCOLN STREET — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies she paid a man $7,500 of an agreed sum ($8,500) to work on her front porch. The man did not complete the work, has not returned, and there was no building permit issued for the job. An inspection revealed several things were not up to code The man told an investigator he told the woman he would complete the job in his spare time and had invoices to show where the money went.

            MINCEY ROAD — (Brooklet) A  woman reported her mail box was knocked down and destroyed. Two other men living in separate residences on the same road also told deputies someone destroyed their mail boxes.

            BROOKLET-DENMARK ROAD — (Brooklet)  A man said his mail box was knocked down and destroyed as well. And a second resident on this road reported the same thing happened to his mail box.

            MILL CREEK ESTATES — (Statesboro) A woman reported a burglary where someone took a Play Station II, controller and PS2 game. She also listed a suspect in sheriff's reports.

            In a separate incident at a different residence at the same location, a man said a juvenile was unruly and ran away.

                                                                                                                                                           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 72 traffic violation citations, assisted five motorists, and investigated four crashes with five reported injuries Sunday.

            MONDAY, 11/19 — Officers assisted three motorists.

            TUESDAY, 11/20 — Officers assisted three motorists.

            WEDNESDAY, 11/21 — Officers assisted one motorist.

            THURSDAY, 11/22 — No incidents were reported.

            FRIDAY, 11/23 — No incidents were reported.

            SATURDAY, 11/24 — Officers assisted one motorist.

            SUNDAY — Officers responded to one alarm.

 

911  Law Enforcement Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 15 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 20 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — seven calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — three calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — one call.

           

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — three calls.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — one call.

                                   

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — three accident calls and 15 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — no medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed one call to the Bulloch County coroner, a call to Stilson Fire Department, a call to Chatham County, a call to Bryan County, and two calls to Emanuel County.
