Statesboro Police Arrests          

            Cara Nicole Mathis, 49, South Main Street — marijuana possession.

            Melvin Randall Bullard, 56, South Main Street — marijuana possession, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Arrests not filed.

           

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Candy Lee, 19, Misty Lane, Brooklet — DUI (.122).

            Joel Perez, 29, Firetower Road, Hagan — DUI (.088).

            Tiffany Inman, 19, Old Savannah Highway, Claxton — DUI (.082).

            Troopers issued 63  citations Friday and 33 citations Saturday for traffic violations.

                                     

Georgia Southern University Arrests

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            HOWARD JOHNSON'S — A man and woman were arrested on marijuana charges, and the man was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon as well. Police seized a small amount of suspected marijuana and a firearm.

                       

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            LANDINGS PARKWAY — (Statesboro) A man said someone destroyed his mail box, and it has happened several times. He found a cinder block nearby and suspected it was used in the vandalism.

            EAGLE GATE PLACE — (Statesboro) Someone stole a $60 Christmas wreath from the subdivision entrance.

            LILAC LANE — (Brooklet) A man reported someone damaged his mail box, as well as several others in the area.

            NEVILS DAISY ROAD — (Nevils) A woman told deputies someone burglarized her home, taking a push lawn mower, a computer, and a jug of pennies,  during a two-hour period while she was gone.

            SINKHOLE ROAD — (Statesboro) A man said a female forged a check.

            UNDISCLOSED LOCATION — (Portal) A woman reported several unauthorized purchases on her credit card.

                                                                                                                                               

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            FRIDAY — Troopers issued 39 warnings, assisted two motorists, and investigated two crashes with three reported injuries.

            SATURDAY — Troopers issued 42 warnings, assisted six motorists, and investigated four crashes with two reported injuries.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — eight calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 21 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — five calls.

            Brooklet Police — one call.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — three calls.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 16 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 16 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — four calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department — seven calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — one call.

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — one call.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Saturday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — one call.

            Bulloch County volunteer firefighters — three calls.

            Metter Fire Department — one call.

                                   

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Friday:

            Bulloch County EMS — one accident call and 13 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — no medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  a call to the Bulloch County coroner, two calls to Bryan County 911, a call to Tattnall county 911, a call to Effingham County 911 and a call to Emanuel County 911.

           

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following call Saturday:

            Bulloch County EMS — 15 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — one medical call. 

            Evans County EMS — one medical call.   

            Central 911 operators also routed  three calls to the Brooklet Police Department and one call to Idaho Falls .
