Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents
BUTTERMILK ROAD - (Portal) A man reported the theft of power tools, a trailer, propane tanks and tool boxes.
SIMMONS ROAD - (Statesboro) A man reported a burglary in which someone took a stove out of a residence that was inhabited by his daughter.
TOMKIN DRIVE - (Statesboro) A man said someone took a shotgun and hunting license from his vehicle.
GUS DENMARK LANE - (Statesboro) A woman said she injured her thumb when her husband pushed her.
GA. 24 - (Statesboro) A man told deputies someone stole an Xbox, games and TV from his home.
HUNTERS POINTE DRIVE - (Statesboro) A man said he came home to find several people in his yard, but they were gone when deputies came to investigate.

Georgia State Patrol Incidents

Incidents occurring Friday and Saturday will be published Monday.
CANDLER COUNTY - During the month of September, Georgia State Patrol Troopers from Post 45 investigated 10 traffic crashes with eight injuries reported. They issued 40 traffic citations including two DUI arrests, 24 speeding tickets, two seat belt violations and one child restraint violation. Troopers also issued 70 warnings during this month.
EVANS COUNTY - During the month of September, Georgia State Patrol Troopers from Post 45 investigated five traffic crashes with three injuries reported. They issued 43 traffic citations including three DUI arrests, 10 speeding tickets, and nine seat belt violations. Troopers also issued 58 warnings during this month.
BULLOCH COUNTY - During the month of September, Georgia State Patrol Troopers from Post 45 investigated 70 traffic crashes with 43 injuries reported. They issued 276 traffic citations including 23 DUI arrests, 106 speeding tickets, 22 seat belt violations and six child restraint violations. Troopers also issued 251 warnings during this month.

Animal Shelter Reports
The Statesboro-Bulloch County Animal Shelter reported the following activity for the week of Oct. 20-26:
Animals received:
Rural county areas, Bulloch Humane Enforcement - nine dogs and 12 cats.
Statesboro city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement - two dogs.
Brooklet city limits, Bulloch Humane Enforcement - one dog.
Abandoned at shelter - one cat.
Surrendered by citizens - eight dogs and eight cats.
Number in litters surrendered - eight puppies and 10 kittens.
Animals out:
Shelter adoptions - six dogs and nine cats.
Returned to owners - one dog.
Euthanized from isolation - 11 dogs and 12 cats.
Euthanized from adoption floor - five dogs.
Humane Enforcement calls:
Deer complaints - one.
