Statesboro Police Arrests          

            Arrests over the weekend will be published Wednesday.

                                   

Bulloch Sheriff's Arrests           

            Carlis Leander Dixon,28,Wade Carter Road, Ellabell — robbery, burglary, abuse, neglect or exploitation of the elderly, financial transaction card theft (three counts), simple battery, state court bench warrant.

            Janice Theron Gaines, 31, Clarence Smith Road, Ellabell — conspiracy to commit a crime (distribute crack cocaine).

            Demetrice Darell Smart, 27, Maple Street — wanted, obstruction.

                       

Georgia State Patrol Arrests

            Aaron Young, 20, Hutton Drive, Grayson — DUI (.82).

            Manuel  Ramos, 43, Old Pence Farm Road, Metter ¸— DUI (.086).

            Troopers issued 42 traffic violation citations Sunday.

                                     

Georgia Southern University Arrests

            Officers issued one traffic violation citation Friday, two Saturday and three Sunday.

            Kemuel Ryan Spivey, 22, Franklin Street, Hawkinsville — wanted person.

            Micah John Smith, 21, Copper Beech Townhouses — DUI, no proof of insurance, seat belt violation.

                         

Statesboro Police Incidents      

            Incidents occurring over the weekend will be published Wednesday.

           

Bulloch Sheriff's Incidents        

            KELLY ROAD —(Clito) A woman said a man gave her permission to drive a car he owned, and her husband came to her home and took  the vehicle.

            ANDERSON ROAD — A man reported $100 cash  taken in a burglary.

            PAUL SMITH ROAD  — (Brooklet) A  man told deputies a former acquaintance and tenant called him using profane and threatening language.

            LAWRENCE CHURCH ROAD  — (Pembroke) A woman found people swimming in her brother's pond, which she was asked to oversee for her brother. A verbal altercation ensued when she confronted the swimmers, who  said they had permission.

            OLD REGISTER ROAD  — (Statesboro) A woman told deputies someone went inside her home and rearranged everything. Someone rearranged her clothes and slept in her bed, and even used her computer that requires a password.

           

Georgia State Patrol Incidents  

            Troopers issued 29 warnings, assisted two motorist and investigated five crashes Sunday with two reported injuries and three reported fatalities.

            Details regarding the fatalities, occurring during a traffic accident on Interstate 16 Saturday just before 6 p.m., were not immediately available Monday afternoon. Additional information will be published Wednesday.

           

Georgia Southern University Incidents

            FRIDAY — Officers issued a traffic warning, assisted four motorists and investigated three accidents.

            SATURDAY — Officers issued four traffic warnings and assisted one motorist.

            SUNDAY — Officers issued four warnings, assisted two motorists, responded to one alarm and a loud music complaint at Olliff Hall.

            SANFORD HALL  —  A TV was taken from a room.

            SOUTHERN PINES — Someone broke a window on a vehicle.

                       

911  Law Enforcement Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County Sheriff's Department — 18 calls.

            Statesboro Police Department — 40 calls.

            Georgia State Patrol Post 45 — seven calls.

            Candler County Sheriff's Department —  four calls.

            Evans County Sheriff's Department — two calls.

                       

911 Fire Department Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Statesboro Fire Department — one call.

            Bulloch County Volunteer Firefighters — two calls.

                       

911 EMS Reports

            Central 911 operators dispatched the following calls Sunday:

            Bulloch County EMS — two accident calls, a rescue call and 12 medical calls.  

            Candler County EMS — five medical calls. 

            Evans County EMS — two medical calls.   

            Central 911 operators also routed a call to the Bulloch County coroner's office and two calls to Bulloch Humane Enforcement Sunday.
